This problem causes the sound to cut out completely through the built-in speakers, Bluetooth speakers, headphones, and other audio devices, with no temporary fix available for those affected so far.

After installing the latest Windows 11 update (24H2), which was launched last October, technical problems affecting device performance were found, according to Microsoft's confirmation.

The second problem concerns the Auto HDR feature, which converts images from standard dynamic range (SDR) to high dynamic range (HDR). This glitch causes incorrect colors to appear and may cause games to stop responding. The only solution currently available is to disable that feature completely.

In response to these problems, Microsoft stopped offering the Windows 11 (24H2) update for affected devices until the bugs are fixed. It is worth noting that this is not the first time the Windows 11 (24H2) update has been halted, as users previously faced problems after installing the update, and it was suspended and then re-released by the company.

This glitch results in the systems being unable to output audio to the built-in speakers, Bluetooth speakers, headphones, and other audio devices.

There is nothing that requires your attention at the moment. Once the update is ready for your device, you will see it available on this page.”So far, there are no temporary workarounds for the newly discovered glitch. Microsoft says it expects a newer version of the driver to resolve the problem. Once it is available, Microsoft will publish it on Windows Update and lift the update block.
